I love typography, but I’m not just saying that because I’m a designer and there’s that stereotype demanding that all designers love type,  make bad jokes about kerning, and scoff at papyrus and comic sans (well, that last one is absolutely true).

There are some sweet typefaces out there– but some are so gorgeous, so flawless, so perfect that there are no words to describe their perfection (so I’m forced to make one up, and I’m going to do so right now .. scrumtrulescent). I’m not saying I have a problem, but, they cause me to compulsively stand up and shout “yes, thank you Lord” like I’m in a New Orleans church on a hot summer sunday morning.
